For new and old parents alike, getting your child ready for the school day may be accompanied by the morning rush where everyone is making sure that they have everything they need to be ready for the day. This may especially true for children who have just started a Pre-K program and have not yet fully adapted to school life.
Here are a few tips to better help you prepare your child for their school day from us here at Future Achievers Preschool:
- Prepare the important things the night before
A great way to make sure that your child does not forget anything important at home is to make sure that every important thing is packed in their school bags the night before. This can include an extra change of clothes in case they get dirty during their time in school. This is also a good thing to practice for child day care centers like our Daycare in California. - Double check before leaving the house
Sometimes we may forget to pack the essentials the night before or during the morning rush. A great practice is to always double check your child’s school bag before leaving to make sure that they have everything they need to learn and enjoy at school. - Fuel your child’s thirst for learning by talking to them about their day at school
Children love to learn and share their new learnings with their parents. Conversing with your child about all the things they learned in school will make them more eager for school the next day. We are a preschool in San Diego, California and hope you find these tips helpful.
